Call-for-Speakers
We are now accepting proposals for presentations at the 2026 Rural Practitioners of Texas Conference!
Do you have expertise, insights, or experiences that could benefit rural healthcare practitioners? We encourage you to submit a session or panel for consideration. The planning committee will prioritize topics that offer practical solutions, innovative approaches, and success stories to inspire and support those working in rural healthcare.
Proposal Submission Details:
- Deadline: January 15, 2026
- Submit to: med-ruralmedicine@tamu.edu with subject line "Speaker Submission: Rural Practitioners of Texas"
- Please include the following in your email submission:
- Speaker(s) name, title, affiliations
- Proposed session title
- Proposed session abstract (200-400 words)
- Two to five anticipated learning objectives
- Suggested presentation format* (keynote address, breakout session, workshop, mainstage panel)
- Email address and phone numbers for the following:
- Primary point-of-contact for submission
- All speakers
- Multiple submissions can be included in a single email
*Requested format is not guaranteed. Conference planning committee reserves the right to design the program as they see best fit.
